Barrel Aged Oaktoberfest

Super smooth from long lager time, bit of vanilla, rounder mouth feel & less of a hop impact vs our standard Oktoberfest

Traditionally, Oktoberfest beers were produced in the spring, and left in caves to lager (age) cold during the summer. Then, at harvest time they were pulled from the cellar, and the strong beers were drank in celebration. These beers were strong, but they developed a beautiful roundness and drinkability from the extended cold time. We have replicated this process by aging our Oktoberfest in oak barrels and our refrigeration systems, to make a Wiseacre twist on a German classic.
