Tours and Beer Pairing Events

Symphonic Soiree:  Saturday, October 28th from 6 – 10 pm

Get your fanciest fancy pants and drinkiest drinking pants on for this classy affair!  We’ve invited Iris Orchestra, Chefs Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman, Long Road Cider, and Old Dominick Distillery to celebrate the release of this year’s Symphonic, an Oak Aged American Wildbock with Montmorency Cherries.

Tickets will include live classical music and four courses from Andy and Mike paired with cider, rosé wine, a cocktail made with a spirit distilled from our Oktoberfest beer, and, of course, Symphonic Wild Bock with Cherries.  Also included in the ticket: complimentary valet parking and the after party from 9 – 10 pm will feature more music and an open bar with four WISEACRE beers available.  Your ticket to the symphony, four course dinner, incredible beverages and loads of fun are available at early bird prices ($110) through September 17th.  You can purchase tickets HERE.

Brewery Tour and Tasting – Every Saturday at 12 pm (only available for sign-up one month in advance)

Get a behind-the-scenes look at our brewery.  We’ll discuss how we got started as a brewery, how beer got started in general and all the ingredients and processes that go into making delicious beer.  While touring the brewery, we will talk about and sample four different styles.  $15 includes the hour tour, 4 beers and a take home logo glass.  Don’t miss out!
Is the Tour and Tasting  sold out? Come in at 2 pm on Saturdays for our Pint Tour.  These are $10 (glass of anything on tap included), walk-in only and first come first served.  Please sign up at the bar on arrival to snag a spot.
*SPECIAL BONUS for the Saturday, September 9th Tour and Tasting at 12 pm.  Its our 4th birthday, so we’ll celebrate with a special treat paired with our Gotta Get Up to Get Down Coffee Milk Stout (one of the 7oz tasters provided on the tour).

Book online now!

Additional September Tours

These are walk-in only (spots cannot be reserved in advance), and $10 includes a 45 minute tour of our brewery and glass of any beer on tap.

Fresh/Wet Hop Tour Saturday, September 9th at 2 pm:  Get hands on with fresh hops!  We are making our yearly fresh hopped IPA and will have fresh hops on hand for an up close look.  Learn what makes these hops so special, different from hops usually used and get the inside scoop on wet-hopping vs. dry-hopping.  Same price as usual: $10 for the tour any pint on tap.  Please keep in mind, the reason we can look at the hops themselves, is fresh-hopped beer is being made the previous day and will not be on tap yet…you’ll have to wait a few weeks for the finished product.

Oktoberfest:  The beer!  The celebration!  Saturday, September 30th at 2 pm.  Learn all about the style and the celebration, including why most of Oktoberfest is actually celebrated in September.  This tour is still $10 and comes with a pint of any beer we have on tap (including our Oktoberfest).

Tour FAQS

Where should I park?  The entrance to the Taproom/Brewery is located at the back of the building.  Parking can be found along the railroad track side of the property.  If the lot is full, additional parking can be found on the side street, Cumberland, with easy access to the entrance via the shipping container bridge.

What should I bring?  All those wanting to drink beer must bring a valid ID (even if you are 198 years old).  We strongly encourage closed-toed shoes and wearing comfortable clothing.  The brewery is not temperature controlled.  It is usually about 10 degrees hotter in the brewery than it is outside.

Is the brewery accessible?  Yes.  There are no stairs; however, as it is a working brewery.  There are occasionally puddles and hoses.  We encourage everyone to be aware of their surroundings.

Who can take the tour?  We welcome those of all ages to take the Pint Tour or the Brewery Tour and Tasting (however we ask for 21+ for Beer Pairing Events).  Children 12 yrs. and under can join the tours at no cost, though all little ones must be kept extremely close (it is a working manufacturing plant).  As space is extremely limited, we do ask tickets be purchased for all others, even if one is not drinking the beer.  We also ask everyone to be considerate of their fellow travelers…those causing a disturbance or doing anything unsafe will be asked to leave the tour with no refund.

Can I reserve tickets over the phone?  Tour tickets can only be purchased online or at the bar.  For the Saturday Tour and Tasting, preference is given to those who purchased tickets online.  Please keep in mind, we are credit card only (no cash).

Do you give refunds?  Tickets for tours will be refunded up to 24 hours in advance.  Exceptions apply for the monthly Beer Pairing Events that involve food (we typically ask for at least 48 hrs. notice).
