Second Banana

2nd Banana is a traditional German Hefeweizen. It was brewed traditionally in our modern brewhouse built exactly for this type of beer. We used 100% German malts and over 50% of this was wheat malt. Together with the Hefeweizen yeast, we produced a well-balanced and refreshing beer. The first sip delivers a pure banana flavor and aroma which is produced by the yeast during fermentation, followed by a mild clove-flavored finish. These flavors and slightly higher carbonation, giving this beer a high level of “Spritzigkeit”, make it a perfectly refreshing drink.
