Tacky
This uniquely produced beer has over 20 times the typical amount of hops fresh picked from the vine!
After flying to Chicago, hitching a ride to Michigan with a buddy, staying over night with another buddy, waking up at the crack of dawn to rent a U-Haul, and loading up a ridiculous amount of hops fresh picked from the vine, Davin drove these fresh flowers over 10 hours back to Memphis to throw them in the tank less than 24 hours after the pick. This uniquely produced beer has over 20 times the typical amount of hops (little aromatic flowers) added to it. The big difference: most of the hops in this batch were picked the same day they were used. Over 300 pounds of hops were picked in Michigan and driven directly into a batch of beer, skipping the normal drying and pelletizing process. Southern colloquialisms led us to the name, which also suggests the sticky, resinous character of these fresh, fruity, citrusy, piney, tropical, chlorophyllic bundles of joy.
