WISEACRE Brewing Company Celebrates 13 Years with Free Birthday PartyFeaturing New Beer, Sky Dog Swapportunity and Local Music
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – WISEACRE Brewing Company is inviting Memphians to raise a glass to 13 years of brewing with a free, all-day birthday celebration Saturday, Aug. 29, at its Broad Avenue brewery.
From 1 p.m. to midnight, guests can enjoy live music, the release of a limited- edition birthday beer, food from Panuzzo King, birthday merchandise,
Gonerfest ticket giveaways and the first-ever Sky Dog Swapportunity, a one- day event encouraging beer drinkers to “trade up” by exchanging a six-pack of domestic, import or light lager for a free six-pack of WISEACRE’s nationally award-winning Sky Dog Premium Lager.
More than a birthday party, the celebration honors the people, community and city that have helped WISEACRE grow from a neighborhood brewery into one of Memphis’ defining hometown brands.
“For 13 years, Memphis has embraced WISEACRE, and this celebration is our way of saying thank you,” said Kellan Bartosch, co-founder of WISEACRE Brewing Company. “We’ve always believed beer brings people together, and this event celebrates not only where we’ve been, but the community that’s made it all possible.”
The birthday celebration also marks the debut of WISEACRE’s limited-edition anniversary beer, available beginning at 1 p.m. while supplies last.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy performances by Melinda, Ibex Clone and Optic Sink, plus a Goner Records DJ on the Overton Park Shell Mobile Stage.
First-Ever Sky Dog Swapportunity
One of the day’s signature attractions is the Sky Dog Swapportunity, offering beer drinkers the chance to discover WISEACRE’s award-winning premium lager. From 1–8 p.m., guests may bring a six-pack of domestic, import or light lager and exchange it for a six-pack of Sky Dog Premium Lager. The promotion is limited to one six-pack per guest. Partial six-packs are accepted, and all exchanged beer will be responsibly disposed of off-site.
